Today I rose with intention. After spending the past three days in the woods with dozens of creatives from all over the world, I'm entering August with a fresh, new perspective.
I went nightswimming with a pink blow-up flamingo simply because. I jammed to Corrine Bailey Rae's live performance on the water at dusk and danced with her under 100 disco balls in the middle of a forest. I guided yoga and meditation (twice!) in a field. I explored a treehouse and dove down a slip and slide that would make your nephew scream with joy. I was unapologetically myself around a group of creatives I barely knew. I had conversations with myself, and others, that needed to be had. And I am better for all of it. I am enormously grateful to Soho House and Camp Wandawega for hosting the experience, to Grey Goose and Peroni for sponsoring it, and to my small tribe of creatives that I now have. And I'm grateful for my own willingness to say YES! What can you say YES to today? By the way, if you're interested in applying to Soho House, let me know. Let's chat. I'm a believer in their vision, and am blessed to be a member!
Mark your calendars: join me in Chicago and NYC!
