“Are you sure, sweetheart, that you want to be well?… Just so’s you’re sure, sweetheart, and ready to be healed, cause wholeness is no trifling matter. A lot of weight when you’re well.”
― Toni Cade Bambara, The Salt Eaters

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
― Audre Lorde

Join me in a city near you for a workshop focused on deep self-awareness and community connection as women of color. What does it mean to be both mindful of what is presently occurring in our social-political world, and mindful of taking care of our spiritual, mental, and physical selves? Together, we’ll explore this through a restorative, slow-moving yoga flow, guided meditation, dialogue, and writing—all rooted in the greater practice of mindfulness. Self-identified women of color are welcome to join. No prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary.

Coming up: Join my e-mail list to stay informed about my tour + like my Facebook page for even more event details. E-mail me if you think your yoga studio would like to host my workshop!
